| Management of user permissions | Responsible and accountable for the issuing and management of all user access permissions of the Chronicle system, thereby ensuring robust data security. |
| Development, Maintenance and management of all Chronicle related interfaces | Responsible and accountable for the development, maintenance and management of all Chronicle related interfaces. Provide support to business areas with regards to their implementation and use. |
| Consultations | Responsible and accountable for the consultation process, creation, reviewing and management of all Chronicle Policy, Guidance and Procedure documents across all areas of business. |
| Operations Recording Requirements | Responsible and accountable for implementing, reviewing and the management of all modules “Operations recording requirements”, in line with the NCA Strategic Threat and Risk Assessment (STRA) data requirements. |
| Representation at Inspections | Represent the NCA during College of Policing (CoP) Firearms Training and Taser Training Licence inspections. Be interviewed with regards to the recording of training and the management of accreditation, using the NCA Chronicle system. Represent the NCA during HMICFRS inspections in relation to Firearms records. Be interviewed with regards to the recording of operational data using the NCA Chronicle system. |
| Attendance at workshops and conferences | Responsible and accountable for attending National JML Chronicle Development workshops decision and conferences as the representative of the NCA. Ensure effective consultation and communication with the relevant NCA business areas. |
| Developing relationships | Develop strong working relationships and work collaboratively with NCA Learning & Development (L&D) Training Managers, Operational Firearms Managers, Chief Firearms Instructor, Strategic Firearms lead, Special Operations Unit (SOU) Senior leadership team and National Stakeholders. |
| Training, supporting and mentoring staff | Train, mentor, support and monitor individual NCA Chronicle staff thereby ensuring a standardised operation of the system, in line with the requirements of the NCA Chronicle policies and procedures. This will include prioritising their workload, when necessary, in order to meet strategic requirements. |
| Data Extraction | Responsible and accountable for the extraction of NCA Operations data to feed and support the NCA Strategic Threat and Risk Assessments (STRAs), across all business areas. |
